OUR COLLECTION HIGHLIGHTS

We are happy to be able to share some of the highlights of our collection on here and will be adding to it monthly to show more and more incredible artifacts that is features in the museum. Depending on the tour some of these artifacts will be displayed at the event.

Saurolophus Eggs in Nest (Original)

These are two Saurolophus eggs with part of the nest attached that are from the Late Cretaceous found in the Xixia Basim (Henan Province) of China. Though these are indentified as Saurolophus eggs they might turn out to belong to another Hadrosaur once they have been CT scanned. Dated to 85 million years ago.

Ancient Roman Relief (Replica)
Ancient Rome Relief of Mercury the God of commerce, communication, and travel. This replica shows the letters E D M H S on it which could mean the location and age of when the piece would have been created. This relief would have been created in the year 100 BCE.

Ancient Egyptian God Horus Statue (Replica)

This is a statue of Horus who was the falcon God and represented the sky, in that each eye would represent the Sun and Moon as the falcon flew across the sky. This God also wears the two crowns of Upper and Lower Egypt in a way of uniting all of Ancient Egypt. This statue if it was not a replica would have dated to 600 BCE.

Ancient Greek Pottery with Hoplite Soldier (Replica)

This Ancient Greek prochos wine vase depicts a hoplite soldier, which was a citizen soldier who were armed with a spear and shield. This peice repesents a vase that would have been made around 650 BCE.

Carcharodontosaurus saharicus Tooth (Original)

It's name means "shark-toothed lizard." Carcharodontosaurus was larger than T. rex. This tooth found in the Kem Kem Beds in Morocco, Africa dates back to 100 million years ago.

Ancient Egyptian Levantine Jug (Replica)

This piece would have come from the middle kingdom of ancient egypt and would have been found in the Tomb of Senwosret III. Dating this to 1839 BCE.
