TIM JEFFRIES

Known as the undisputed rockstar of dinosaur expertise, Tim Jeffries has been studying and researching dinosaurs for over fourteen years. He has earned several certificates in vertebrae paleontology from the University of Alberta, the University of Hong Kong, and the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba (Argentina), and the American Museum of Natural History (New York). He is a proud member of the Canadian Society of Vertebrae Paleontology, as well as a member of the Royal Ontario Museum, and Royal Tyrell Museum. Tim has prepped dinosaur fossils for the Royal Ontario Museum, and the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum in Alberta. In 2012 he donated an extremely rare vertebrae fossil to the Royal Ontario Museum which helped prove the existent of giant sloths in Alberta. Having learned from top paleontologists, he has kept up with the latest news in dinosaur paleobiology. His touring museum and himself are commended and supported by world famous paleontologist, Dr. Phil Currie, Professor and Canada Research Chair in Dinosaur Paleontology. Tim has discovered dinosaur bones belonging to Albertosaurus, Edmontosaurus, Ankylosaurus, among others in the badlands of Alberta and Saskatchewan, as well as searched for dinosaur fossils in Nova Scotia. For the past nine years Tim has given numerus lectures on dinosaurs covering a variety of topics throughout Canada, and gaining high praise from professionals, the public, and media including CBC Radio. His newest lectures, GREAT SCOTT: Back to the Cretaceous and the World’s Largest T. rex, will have his audience emersed in the world of dinosaurs., while learning the newest science of paleontology. When not lecturing Tim works on identifying dinosaur fossils and continues research in vertebrae paleontology
